It is quite interesting when we start discussing with IoE / IoT capabilities that are evolving across geography. If we come across the reviews, currently there are millions and millions of devices created and manufactured for serving the IoT needs. On the other side the malware infections that impacted around 2 million devices. The trend leaves me here to think on why more devices for meeting such a demand.

Keeping this in mind, I would like to know if the current IoT platforms that are created either by Technology supplier or legacy platforms are compatible to integrate with a single IoT device for multiple purpose. Would like to understand and keep discussing on how this is done.

Example: How it can be leveraged having ONE SINGLE sensor built for "Smart home" or "Fleet Management" etc..to control the entire capabilities.

I'm happy to hear on how this could be made available as a plug and play mode so that the entire Smart Home packaging become easier for any users / customers to customize on their own. It would be quite interesting to know how the IoT platform integrate with functionality.
