  • 1.  TMF685 Resource Pool Management - requires refactoring

    TMF685 Resource Pool Management provides 2 sets of functionality:
    • Resource Reservation
    • Resource Pool Management

    In my humble opinion this functionality needs to be refactored.

    Resource Reservation should be separated from this API because it a qualification as part of the sales process in the "Fulfilment" vertical.
    It should therefore be aligned with other Qualification API and integrated in the Qualification Flow as shown of the attached diagram.

    Resource Pool Management is a part of the "Operations Support & Readiness" vertical.

    Resource Reservation renamed to Resource Qualification

    I suggest you raise this with the Open API leadership @Steve Harrop @Andreas Polz @pierre gauthier , and/or open an issuein the Open API JIRA https://projects.tmforum.org/jira/projects/AP/issues (you can do this only if you are a member of the Open API project).​​​ My colleague @Jacob Avraham​​​ is also looking at this API from the perspective of number portability, which could open up another discussion point.
