  • 1.  Open API for Budget, Supplier catalogue and Purchase order use cases

    Hello,

    I am looking for the right Open API with respect to below use cases. Any suggestions would be of great help please.

    1. To get the supplier material/catalogue information so as to proceed to Purchase Order submission.
    2. To get the budget information based on WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) so that the purchase order could be raised with this reference.
    3. Purchase order journeys.

    Hi Anitha
    1. TMF620 Product Catalog - take a look at the use case described in the published user guide (spec) where we talk about transferring data between multiple catalogs.
    2. I am not sure we have an API, I believe that some colleagues from Telstra (@Varun Nair and friends) are working on a proposal for cost modeling, not sure if this is what you are looking for
    3. TMF622 Product Order Management

    I noticed that an explicit 'Purchase Order' API would come into play in future based on the Road map. However, at the moment, I suppose we can assess TMF622 Product Order Management.

    @Varun Nair : For #2 usecase described in this thread, I am looking for the Open API. Did you come across similar scenario in the past and any inputs here would help.

    Hi Anitha,
    We had indeed started that work last year to develop an API for work break down with costs, but had to be put on the backlog due to other priorities. I shall let you know as soon as the we pick up the work to come up with an Open API.
