    API Best practices from Apigee Website may be helpful for you.
    It is a good book on designing APIs.
    You may have to provide some Information to download the ebook.

    we cover this a bit in the Open API ebook, which you can download on the link below.  Also the tmf open api governance document is in itself a governance model that we are adopting in our collaborative team and it is modeled on the governance process of one of the leading CSPs in the api program, link below also.
