Open APIs

Dear all,
Looking into the APIs I - sorry if misunderstanding - see a strong B2C focus. I am sure that the EU regulated open access FTTH business model, that separates ISPs from layer 2 and layer 1 providers could benefit form this openAPI approach as well as a standardized model (e.g. ISP tells the L2-L1 provider to activate customer x on their active and passive network as well) could boost the open access environments/uptake and simplify collaboration between the ISPs and the hundreds/thousands of local fiber players (utilities, FiberCos, Telcos, ...).  Also use cases where L2+1 player invoices the ISP are relevant.

Is such an wholesale approach already build in (sorry for overlooking or not finding it), or are such discussions already ongoing (happy to contribute!)

While it's true that many examples in Open API user guide show residential B2C scenarios, I think it is going too far to say that the APIs are B2C-focused.
We have (for example) Partnership management API, which is very clearly a means of setting up partnerships between B2B parties. The Service Problem API (if I recall correctly) includes examples of problems in one Service Provider affecting another SP, and the Catalog APIs include communications between catalogs of different SPs.
Work is going on in the ODA functional team to create use cases and business flows, some of these refer to provisioning of broadband end-points by partner SPs, using the relevant Open APIs.
Hope this clarifies the situation.

Thanks Jonathan, very helpful, have not seen the service problem definition before in that detail and it is definitively going in the right direction! Also the provisining of parnter SPs BB endpoint is key. Is there an option to follow teh ODA functional team to see new developments/definitions?
