Open APIs

Hi

I am working on a use case where enterprise customer orders a product , part of which is fulfilled by third party supplier. I am looking for more clarity on below questions:

Is it good practice to store the supplier cost against product inventory(TMF637) of the customer? do we store the cost as product characteristics?

I am not able to find correct placeholder for the supplier cost for the product purchased by the customer. Let me write down the steps:

1. CRM to Product Order Mgt : Product order (TMF622)
2. Product Order Mgt to Service Order Mgt : Service order(TMF641)
3. Service Order Mgt to Supplier(s) : One or more Work Orders(TMF697), in this Customer product order id/order item id reference is present 
4. In TMF697 response - contains supplier cost(s)
5. A Partner account already created in Partner Mgt System(example AMDOCS) 
6. This supplier cost can be transferred to Partner Mgt System using which TMF API?
   1. Does the supplier cost records contains reference to customer product inventory or service inventory?
7. Which TMF API is used to send the supplier cost to Partner Settlement system(a finance system like Oracle ERP)?

Some great questions here. At least in principle, some work was done to update the Open APIs to cater for partnership situations, under the ZTP (zero-touch partnership) initiative. But I'm not sure if your particular use case was handled in the ZTP work, perhaps @Joann O'Brien can relate, or see the published ZTP API profile at: https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/display/PUB/TMF916A+Zero-Touch+Partnering+API+Profile+v2.0.0

Regarding cost, please note that work is proceeding on a dedicated API for this, more info here: https://engage.tmforum.org/discussion/which-tmf-relates-to-the-cost-price-of-the-product-not-the-offering-price-of-the-product

And specifically for broadband, there's a separate workstream discussing supplier/partner relationships for modeling wholesale fiber broadband, that could be relevant to your situation.
