  • 1.  Certification of asynchronous implementation - TMF679 and TMF645

    Hello TM Forum team,

I would like to raise a question regarding whether an asynchronous implementation of the Open APIs TMF679 and TMF645 can be certified under the TM Forum Open API Conformance and Certification Program.

In our case, the implementation is based on the API specifications and data models defined by TM Forum; however, the interaction pattern is asynchronous, leveraging the event listeners defined in the Swagger specifications to receive notifications about the outcome of operations, rather than a strictly synchronous request/response flow.

In this context, we would like to confirm:

    1. Whether an asynchronous implementation of TMF679 and TMF645 can be certified.
    2. Whether there are any specific requirements, constraints, or recommendations related to asynchronous implementations within the certification process.

We would appreciate any references to documentation or formal criteria that could help clarify this topic.

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

    Kind regards,
    Genesis

    Hi Genesis,

I recommend that you have a chat with your Engagement Manager, Javier Betti, jbetti@tmforum.org, he will provide some options on how to get your question answered.
