  • 1.  Device location and QoS

    Do we have any any Open API which talks about Device Location details on demand?

    We have TMF 642 which is there for alarm management where we could get some details around device but not really run time device location.

    Also is there any dedicated API which provide insights on QoS? 

    We have TMF 653 which is service test that provides some performance related data on device/service level but not extensively.

    Device location is fetched from network and lot of NW OEM provides locate services basis cellular triangle.

    Service related details like QoS, mangaed , unmangaed can be checked in service invetory management (TMF 638)

    Resource related details can be checked in resource inventory management (TMF 639)

    Can u pls let me know the usecase on how do u intend to use the QoS API. For on-demand query, I would think the below APIs would be relevant.

    My immediate instinct was indeed to suggest CAMARA for this type of real-time interaction with the network. There's a potentially interesting catalyst in progress for DTW 2023 showing use cases involving TMF Open APIs and CAMARA APIs in action together.
