Intent Specification Design - TR299, TMF921 and TMF620

We would like to gain a clearer understanding of how Intent Specification (IS) should be modelled within our Catalog. Based on our review of the available documentation, there appear to be two distinct definitions of IS: one originating from TR299, which focuses on intent ontology and semantic modelling, and another defined in TMF921, which describes the API and resource model.
We would welcome clarification on how these two definitions relate to and align with one another, as well as a deeper understanding of the practical role and significance of Intent Specification at the product specification level. In particular, we are keen to understand its value and positioning alongside our existing Product, Service, and Resource representations within the Catalog - we have a TMF 620 implementation currently.
