  • 1.  Missing TMF723 Policy Management API in Open API Directory

    Posted Oct 31, 2025 07:39

    Hi TM Forum team,

I've noticed that the TMF723 Policy Management API is no longer listed in the Open API Directory. It used to be available there, but now it seems to be missing.

When I search for it using the TM Forum search function, I do get a result linking to the API documentation. However, when I click the link, it returns a "404 This page could not be found" error.

Could you please clarify whether TMF723 has been deprecated, relocated, or temporarily removed?

Recently I was looking for the same. I didn't find it in the published docs. Then, in wiki, I found it here - https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/display/AP/TMF723+Policy+Management+API+Profile. Looks like it's not published yet.

    Hi Jan,

To clarify the situation: TMF723 hasn't been deprecated - it simply hasn't reached the publication threshold for the Open API Directory. What you're accessing in the wiki is the internal API Profile https://projects.tmforum.org/wiki/display/AP/TMF723+Policy+Management+API+Profile , and Profiles are not published into the Directory - only the full asset set is published (OAS, User Guide, Conformance Profile, CTK, RI, and Postman collection).

TMF723 V5.0.0 is currently progressing under AP-3738 and is in the Implement Feedback stage with the contributing member. Once the Build-01 package is complete and clears internal review, it will move toward Preview publication.

Updates will be communicated through the Open API Project updates - you'll be notified if you are part of the Open API Project workspace.
