    Dear All,

we are working on TMF639 Open API implementation and to adhere to TMF compliance need help for few samples payload related to 639 API model. Like if there are multiple resources i.e we have physical equipment device which is represented under floor, rooms, suites, rack, shelf, chassis, distributed frame, slot, card, port etc. So, if we need to represent this hierarchy then do we need represent one resource having resource Relationship and its various types with IP address and other resource characteristics, properties OR we need to represent each object as resource i.e device as one resource with its relationship and properties, chassis or slot or card etc. as one resource with reference respective device relationship.

Which is most recommended structure? If we have any sample payload representing such resource model will great help to implement and comply with TMF guidelines.
You may provide payload with sample values removing actual values for reference.

    Thanks in Advance!!

    Regards,
    Mahesh

    Hi all,

I was about to do similar request - looking for some examples like full structure of device (Device - Chassis - Slot - Card - Port) to look how will look the Relationship (for example with and without mandatory slot for example). And some example for resources like Cables (and related Fibers with terminations)?

Other of my questions/concerns is about HW (or even SW) compatibility definition on TMF634 - its is possible to define compatibility rules in ResourceSpec (i.e. in Device of vendor "X" can put only card do vendor "X" or in my detail like in Slot 1 of Device "X" can put the Card Models "X_1" and "X_2")

In regards Logical Resources like VNFs/CNFs - hosting its modelled as a relationship also? Some example of CNF instance in a container or a VNF hosted in VM and then hosted in a Physical Device to have a better understanding would be great.

    Thanks in advance!
