  • 1.  TMF API (620, 633, 634, etc.) Lifecycle States - Can retired still be ordered?

    Posted Feb 26, 2026 06:42

In the API, retired is defined as:
The "Retired" status means it cannot be sold to any new customers, but previous customers can still have it.

Does it mean that it can still be sold to old customers? Meaning new instantiations can still be made.

    Hi Bryan,

I think the correct interpretation is that there are no new installations for any customer, but you can support "maintenance orders" (upgrades, downgrades, moves, cancellations...) for existing installations. So no new installations for old customers

    Hi Edwell,

I actually have the same interpretation with you. Are there any documents that supplements this?

What do you mean by "old customers" in the context "Does it mean that it can still be sold to old customers"?
