  • 1.  TMF642 - Alarm Management AP - Characteristics

    Hi TMF Experts,

    What is the reason for not having Characteristics relationship for Alarm object in TMF 642 v5.0.0?  With Characteristics relationship we can add additional key/value pairs on the Alarm object.

    Can we add this relationship in next version of 642.  The TMF639 has the Characteristics relation on the Resource.

    @santhosh thatipally notes that the TMF642 Alarm Management API doesn't support the Characteristics pattern. 

    If it did we would also need to manage AlarmSpecifications which define those Characteristics. An argument could be made.

    Oh!  Yes.  I forgot about the <Entity>Specification relationship for the Characteristics.  

    Is any plans for adding <Entity>Specification for Alarm?  If not can we have other array sub-structure to main key/value pairs to maintain dynamic properties.
