    Hi Team,

    We need to provide channel wise filtered product information to north bound system using TMF679.

    Here we need to provide below information in response with specific product. We need your guidance to manage this information with TMF679 either mapping with existing objects/inputs or extending with new objects/inputs, Please suggest.

                     name

    String

    Type of the Quota.

    For Example : "dataAmount"  or  "voiceAmount"  or  "smsAmount" 

                     value

    String

    Value of the Quota

                     className

    String

    Class Name.

    For example : localData, internationalData, roamingData, socialData, video

                     quantityUnit

    GB or MB or SMS  or MINUTE

    Not sure I understand the context, Chetan. TMF679 is ProductOfferingQualification.

    Perhaps you meant TMF677 UsageConsumption?

    Hi Jonathan,

    Here we need to response back with available service quota in specific product offer, it may be either local or international & quota of specific service like Data or Voice or SMS with unit & quantity (GB/MB/KB, Hours/Minutes/Seconds).

    If you mean at the catalog level, then TMF620 would do - you'd use GET on the ProductOffering and retrieve also the embedded ProductOfferingPrice. Probably the quota would be a characteristic on the POP.

    Hi Jonathan,

    On the similar lines how can i define a mobile plan with different service quota in TMF 620.

    As an example,

                          -> Voice service

                                      Local Calls 1000 Mins

                                     Roaming  Calls 500 Mins,

         What is the best way of modelling Service Type ( Voice / Data / SMS ) along with SubserviceType ( LOCAL / ROAMING / INTERNATIONAL / MO_LOCAL / MT_ROAMING ) etc in TMF 620 ?

    You may find guidance in TMFS009 Use Case: Usage and Balance Management, although it's not the only way to do things.

    The model we use at SigScale has allowances represented by Product Offering Price Alteration. In your example we have Product Specifications for prepaid voice as well as data and SMS.  A Product Offering bundles component Product Offerings for voice, data, SMS, each with separate Product Offering Price for local and roaming with an Alteration on each providing the recurring allowances. Characteristics on the Price define the tariff tables used or alternatively a Pricing Logic Algorithm (PLA) is provided as a reference to a Resource Function providing the role of a 3GPP TS 32.296 Rating Function (RF).
