  • 1.  Tmforum Open API Implementation for Salesforce Field Services Product

    Hello everyone, 

    Could you please tell me if there is some roadmap for Salesforce implement TM Forum Open API's for Salesforce Field Service (Workforce Management) product ? If not , is there some suggestion to implement it using TMFORUM standard ? I mean, if there isn't this approach or roadmap for Salesforce Field Services product  , how could we implement (or should be the best approach)  the TMFORUM Open API concept using the Salesforce Field Services product ? Should I implement it by myself inside Salesforce Field Service and export it ? Or create some microservices ? Thanks in advance,

    Hi Daniel
    I would respectfully suggest that this is a question to be submitted to Salesforce product management, using whatever feedback mechanisms they provide on their website. Or if you have contractual connection with Salesforce use your account manager to submit your feedback.
    Of course, if people from Salesforce are in the TMF community and see this post, they are invited to respond here :) .

    Thanks for the answer @Jonathan Goldberg !!! Could I use the guide book : GB922  (etom / SID ) approach as best practice for Work Force Management  aligned with TMFORUM ?

    Hi Daniel, I'm working on the same... There is work order management in early adoption stage (TMF697), we are doing façades of SFFS and I'm doing my v1.0 with that.
