Hi All,

Can you please suggest that as a SOM layer should we decompose individual line items for let's say 5000 quantity item e.g. i am selling MS teams license to my employees so should it be one line item with 5000 quantity and one task to fulfill it or 5000 line items with 5000 tasks for order management to fulfill the order, from inventory perspective we would track each license separately

Doesn't it depend on the details of the way your SOM interacts with the underlying implementation of the service? In this case MS Teams. I would hazard a guess that each Teams member needs to be provisioned explicitly, with their federated ID from Active Directory. That's apart from the license considerations. But I'm so not an expert in these areas.

In the example suggested am assuming there is no step to be perfomed in context of each of the 5000 MS Licenses as part of the Order, but for assigning 5000 licenses to the customer in Microsoft systems. So don't expect any decomposition. Assignment of Licenses to end users am assuming will be done outside the scope of the Order journey.
