Hi,

I have a scenario, where in I need to build an API which will activate a voucher/list of vouchers from a third party system. What would be the best suited API for it? TMF-676 (Payment mgmt API) or TMF-702(Resource Activation Management API).

Please let me know in case more details are required.

Ideally there would be a dedicated Open API for voucher management. Work was being done on such an API but I don't know what the current status is.

In general, you need to consider the entire lifecycle of a voucher, from initial provisioning/production, through assigning to a customer, redeeming partial value and dealing with the balance, through to finishing the voucher by redeeming the remaining value.

TMF676 should certainly accept a voucher as a payment method, and you could regard a voucher also as a type of resource. But there is a lot of other stuff going on there.
